Meet Personal Transformation Facilitator
Sheri Rosenthal
In 1998,
a questing Sheri Rosenthal, DPM, changed husbands, cities, podiatric practices
and even friends. Still, she felt something was missing. Then she discovered the
book, The Four Agreements, and the teachings of don Miguel Ruiz. She made
a trip to the sacred site of Teotihuacan and became a student of don Miguel. The
podiatrist of 16 years came to walk a very different path.
Now Sheri
is a Mentor Toltec teacher, and has even co-taught with don Miguel at his
workshops. She facilitates workshops based on The Four Agreements,
mentors one-on-one, and leads spiritual journeys all over the world. She also
serves as a Fellow of the Center of Spiritual Life at Eckerd College, where she
interacts with the students, staff and local community.
The
Toltecs were a highly advanced civilization that lived thousands of years ago in
the central valley of Mexico. Their spiritual philosophy focused on finding
personal freedom by transcending limiting beliefs and programming with self-love
and awareness. Rather than life being about drama, pain and fear, life can be
about love and joy. “I found that changing my outer circumstances or
relationships didn’t change me,” Sheri says. “When I broke free of my own
programming, I realized that what had prevented me from being happy was limiting
beliefs about myself and my world.”
Sheri
enjoys traveling all around the world, drawing and painting, writing, and
staying in shape with workouts at the gym and rollerblading.
Her book, The Idiot's Guide to Toltec Wisdom, is scheduled for publication in August 2005.
