It is hard to believe that Caroline Spencer, owner of Wilsey Auto and an experienced auto-cross driver, drove cars very little for most of her life. She always had “nice” cars, but she let her friends drive them. Caroline’s sister begged and begged her to come to one of her auto-cross races, but Caroline resisted for years. Once she went, however, she liked it and became a force to be reckoned with in auto-cross (one vehicle at a time racing against time). Sponsored by Suncoast Porsche of Sarasota, Caroline has been an active and winning racer since 1995.

At Wilsey’s, Caroline has worked hard to make car repair/maintenance “a lot less stressful. We try to give our customers a perspective on the needs and future needs of their car” so they can plan ahead for major repairs or maintenance.

Caroline says that cars are being made better than ever and to last longer. “You can expect 200,000 miles on your car now if you maintain it properly, particularly the fluids.”
