Meet Realtor Consultant Lynn Gervais

Lynn Gervais says she wasn’t “seasoned” enough in her early twenties when she first tried her hand at real estate. But 30 years later, it is a perfect fit. In between, Lynn worked at the St. Petersburg Times for 17 years, first as an accountant, then as a production manager.

But for as long as Lynn can remember she had enjoyed everything about houses. So with a different point of view and lots of worldly experience, Lynn and Laurin Fronduto Weir, a looking-at-houses friend from her days at the Times, opened a real estate consulting partnership. Now in their third year of business, Team Home Dream focuses primarily on residential property. Lynn considers herself to be a consultant because she says that to sell real estate you just have to “listen and match. You don’t have to sell anything; you just introduce people to the place that is right for them.”

Lynn and her husband live in the Crescent Lake area with their 10-year-old grandson. “We’ve been blessed to have Tyler since he was born,” she says. Lynn starts many of her days by taking a quiet, early morning walk around the lake. She dreams of building a cabin with a huge deck overlooking the view on 8 acres they own in the north Georgia mountains, and someday dividing her time between a home there and her home here.
