Meet Accountant Beth Crawford

Beth Crawford says she didn’t become a CPA the “normal” way. Her father pressed her to become an accountant but she thought they were dull. She dreamed of becoming a flight attendant or a travel agent. But they wanted to put her in their accounting departments. So she went to work for AAA and they put her in the insurance department doing bookkeeping. She got the message and became a CPA.

Beth loves doing small business taxes because she likes dealing with people, the multiple tasks, and the planning opportunities such as retirement or education – not to mention helping them grow their business.

Beth lives in South St. Pete with her husband, whom she has known since high school, and their two Standard poodles, and loves doing just about anything outdoors, especially playing soccer.
